I went to a wedding yesterday. It was great. Lovely ceremony, happy couple, great food and drink – an all round brilliant day topped off by seeing a good mate made very happy.

Weddings are not always so lovely however, as my favourite ever television programme Wedding Stories proved time and time again… The show isn’t on anymore, mores the pity, but it will remain, for me at least, at the forefront of comedy: both intended and not.
