It’s worth minuting that the title of this blog ‘anonlinegreenworld‘ was chosen because ‘anothergreenworld.com‘ had already been nicked. I wanted ‘Another Green World’ because a) I think it’s cool to reference Brian Eno albums and b) I do so love this little green world we inhabit and all the mind bogglingly daft things its inhabitants get up to.
Once such thing, is people walking into each other. This phenomenon, oddly enough, forms the basis for a short story that I pinged off to the lovely folk behind TwitterTitters a couple of weeks ago to see if they’d like to include it in the book they’ve put together for Comic Relief. Well, it turns out they did (which was very nice of them) and you can now buy that book.
It’s only £9 for a printed copy, and you can use it to hit the dog when it farts once you’ve finished reading it. So, it’s really more of an investment than reading material. Of course all profits will go straight to Comic Relief, so you don’t just invest in a device for canine control, but in the future of people both here, and in Africa.
TwitterTitters, if you needed any more convincing, features not only 1400 words from the very same keyboard that brings you this post, but also exclusive work from Dave Spikey – he of Phoenix Nights fame – and several other very worthy characters. I don’t know them, but it’s always best to be optimistic.
